On September 26, at Sheraton Hanoi, hosted by Department of Livestock Production, Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development (MARD), and the participation of many media and news partners, Vietstock 2023 press conference took place successfully.

VIETSTOCK ACCOMPANIES WITH VIETNAM’S LIVESTOCK INDUSTRY

With nearly 20 years of organization, Vietstock accompanies with the Department of Livestock Production (MARD) and Department of Agriculture and Rural Development and Livestock Production and Animal Health Sub-Department in 63 provinces, as well as the industrial organizations and associations such as: Animal Husbandry Association of Vietnam – AHAV, Vietnam Ruminant Husbandry Association – VINARUHA, Vietnam Poultry Association – VIPA, Vietnam Fisheries Society – VINAFIS, International Collaborating Centre For Aquaculture And Fisheries Sustainability – ICAFIS, Agricultural Extension center, etc.

Mr. Duong Tat Thang, Director General, Department of Livestock Production, Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development (MARD) shared a very comprehensive and complete Overview of Vietnam’s livestock industry in 2023 – Challenges and Opportunities of Vietnam’s livestock industry – Development Orientation

Mr. Duong Tat Thang shared: “Vietnam’s livestock industry has improved its production capacity and strongly integrated with the region and the world. With the policy of opening the market, Vietnam has created an investment environment and created favorable conditions for many large corporations and businesses in the world to invest and develop livestock business in Vietnam.”

“The agriculture and livestock industry are increasingly being improved and creating favorable conditions for domestic and foreign businesses to invest and develop. The livestock industry is growing strongly in scale, contributing to the transformation of agricultural economic structure” said Mr. Duong Tat Thang at the press conference.

Being the highlight activity of Vietstock 2023, VIETSTOCK AWARDS 2023 is endorsed by the Department of Livestock Production – The Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development. Present at the press conference, Mr. Vo Trong Thanh shared information about 18 livestock awards 07 aquaculture awards and detailed evaluation criteria.

The award honors domestic and foreign businesses that have made outstanding contributions to the Vietnamese livestock industry. Vietstock Awards 2023 winners will be announced on the first day of the Vietstock exhibition – at Award Ceremony – Gala Dinner, on October 11.
