  05/11/2026

Vietstock 2026 – Vietnam’s premier international exhibition for the Feed, Livestock and Meat industries took place from 21 to 23 October at the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Center (SECC), Ho Chi Minh City. The event provided a platform for industry engagement, knowledge exchange and business networking, reinforcing Vietstock’s role in supporting the development of Vietnam’s livestock industry.

Mr. Ben Wong, Country General Manager of Informa Markets Vietnam, said: “This year marks the 14th edition of Vietstock and more than 22 years of our journey alongside Vietnam’s livestock industry. Hosted by the Department of Animal Health and Production under the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment, Vetstock 2026 is held under the theme: ‘Shaping the Future of Livestock Industry: Innovation – Green Transition – Competitiveness Enhancement’. Vietstock brings these priorities into focus by connecting businesses with the technologies, expertise and partners that can help turn them into action.”

With more than  22 years of engagement with Vietnam’s livestock industry, Vietstock has established its position as Vietnam’s leading international exhibition for the Feed, Livestock, Meat and Veterinary industries.

More than an annual meeting point for domestic and international businesses, Vietstock serves as a comprehensive platform connecting brands, experts, regulators and leading players across the entire value chain. With its growing scale, in-depth industry programme and extensive international network, Vietstock continues to drive business connections, knowledge exchange and innovation, contributing to shaping the future development of Vietnam’s livestock industry and the wider region.

CONNECTING BUSINESSES ACROSS THE LIVESTOCK VALUE CHAIN

Over three days, Vietstock 2026 brought together 248 brands and welcomed 13,414 industry professionals, regulators, producers and business leaders; from 52 countries. Bringing together stakeholders across the livestock value chain, the exhibition showcased a diverse range of products, technologies and solutions spanning animal feed, genetics, farm management, animal health, livestock production and meat processing.

Vietstock also provided a valuable platform for businesses to showcase their capabilities, connect with potential customers and partners, and explore new business opportunities in Vietnam and across the region.

Beyond showcasing products and services, Vietstock fostered meaningful conversations between industry players, creating opportunities to exchange perspectives, identify shared priorities and build business relationships that extend beyond the exhibition. Vietstock has established a strong brand reputation, serving as a strategic bridge between stakeholders and supporting the sector’s continued development.

ADVANCING INDUSTRY KNOWLEDGE AND ADDRESSING KEY CHALLENGES

Throughout the three-day exhibition, Vietstock 2026 hosted more than 89 knowledge sessions, conferences, technical seminars and specialised forums, delivering in-depth insights, timely industry updates and the latest technology trends to attendees. The programme addressed key developments and challenges across the livestock and veterinary sectors, creating opportunities for experts, regulators, producers and businesses to exchange knowledge and explore practical approaches to industry development.

The Department of Animal Health and Production hosted 3 key conferences, covering a range of practical topics, from technical advancements to regulatory updates and policy directions. These conferences provided a platform for stakeholders to discuss industry priorities, share professional expertise and explore solutions to enhance productivity, operational efficiency and competitiveness. In particular, the Dialogue Session between the Department of Animal Health and Production and Vietnamese businesses provided an opportunity for government representatives and the business community to exchange views directly on practical industry challenges, policy implementation and business environment issues, fostering greater mutual understanding and closer collaboration between the two sides.

Vietstock 2026 also welcomed representatives from 7 ASEAN countries:  Vietnam, Malaysia, Philippines, Cambodia, Thailand, Indonesia and Myanmar, to the ASEAN Livestock and Veterinary Associations Roundtable. The programme provided a platform for regional associations to connect, share experiences and exchange views on common areas of interest, while fostering dialogue and promoting regional collaboration towards the sustainable development of the ASEAN livestock and veterinary sectors.

Addressing key challenges in animal health and disease prevention, Vietstock 2026 featured the One Health Forum and the Swine Disease Conference, bringing together experts and industry stakeholders to exchange insights and practical solutions.

The Swine Disease Conference placed particular emphasis on African Swine Fever (ASF), examining its evolving challenges, prevention and control strategies, and the importance of strengthening farm-level biosecurity to minimise disease risks and protect swine production.

Discussions at the One Health Forum highlighted the importance of applying the One Health approach through three complementary pillars: biosecurity and hygiene, farm management, and nutrition. By integrating these elements, livestock producers can better safeguard animal health and production performance while reducing reliance on antibiotics. Together, the sessions emphasised responsible disease management and coordinated action as essential measures for strengthening the industry’s resilience and supporting sustainable livestock production.

Industry conferences organised by reputable Vietnam associations also attracted strong interest from the livestock community. These included the Sustainable Livestock Conference, hosted by the AHAV; the Ruminant Production Conference, hosted by the VINARUHA; the Poultry Conference, hosted by the VPA; and the “Farmer Exchange” Talk Show, hosted by the VFAEA. These programmes brought industry knowledge closer to practical production and business needs.

In particular, in celebration of Vietnamese Women’s Day, Vietstock 2026 hosted the “Women in Livestock Leadership Challenges & Inspiration” panel discussion, bringing together female leaders from Vietnam and abroad who are active in the livestock industry. Moderated by Ms Rose Chitanuwat, Regional Portfolio Director – ASEAN at Informa Markets, the session provided a platform for speakers to share their professional journeys, leadership achievements, and the opportunities and challenges facing women in the industry. The discussion recognised women’s contributions, inspired future generations and highlighted the important role of women in advancing the livestock industry.

PROMOTING SUSTAINABILITY AND COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT

Beyond business networking and knowledge exchange, Vietstock 2026 also placed strong emphasis on promoting sustainability, community responsibility and industry engagement through a range of meaningful initiatives and activities, offering visitors valuable experiences throughout the exhibition.

The Eggcellence Theatre, as part of the celebration of the 30th anniversary of World Egg Day, featuring an egg knowledge forum hosted by the Vietnam Poultry Association, offered informative sessions highlighting the nutritional value of eggs and their role in everyday life. As part of the initiative, 9,000 ready-to-eat eggs were distributed free of charge to visitors, with sponsorship from Mebi and Vinh Thanh Dat, helping raise awareness of the nutritional benefits of eggs among the community.

To broaden access to the exhibition and strengthen business connections, the Bus-in Programme supported more than 1,500 farmers from provinces and cities including Can Tho, Vinh Long, Tay Ninh, Dong Nai, Dong Thap, Ho Chi Minh City and Lam Dong, in attending the event. The programme provided farmers with opportunities to explore new technologies, update their knowledge and discover practical solutions to support their production activities.

In addition, the Hosted Buyer Programme welcomed 200 international buyers from Cambodia, Indonesia, Myanmar, Laos and Vietnam facilitating business connections and creating opportunities for cross-border partnerships and trade within the regional livestock industry.

Vietstock Quest, in collaboration with Nong Lam University, brought together 170 students from 6 leading universities in the livestock sector to compete through a series of interactive challenges and engage with industry professionals. The programme provided a valuable platform for students to showcase their knowledge, apply their skills and gain practical industry insights, while helping nurture young talent, develop the next generation of livestock professionals and strengthen connections between academia and businesses.

At the Sustainability Square, visitors had the opportunity to explore sustainable initiatives and solutions, while engaging in an interactive workshop making animal-shaped soaps to raise environmental awareness and encourage responsible practices across the livestock industry.

Further reinforcing this commitment, the Better stands  Award recognised exhibitors’ efforts in adopting sustainable booth designs, encouraging the use of reusable materials, reducing single-use structures and incorporating environmentally friendly solutions. Together, these initiatives helped raise awareness, promote the adoption of sustainable practices and recognise businesses actively contributing to a greener exhibition environment.

Extending its community impact beyond the exhibition, Vietstock partnered with Mebi on the “Listen, Share and Improve” initiative, donating two eggs to SOS Children’s Village Go Vap for every completed survey. The campaign collected 1,010 surveys, resulting in 2,020 eggs donated to support the children.

STRENGTHENING INDUSTRY COLLABORATION FOR THE FUTURE

As Vietnam’s livestock industry responds to changing market demands, technological developments and sustainability priorities, collaboration across the value chain remains essential. By bringing together businesses, experts, associations, regulators and other stakeholders, Vietstock supports ongoing knowledge exchange, strengthens industry connections and encourages the adoption of practical solutions.

Vietstock extends its sincere appreciation to all exhibitors, sponsors, partners, associations, speakers, delegates and visitors whose participation and support contributed to the 2026 edition. Their continued engagement reinforces the importance of a shared platform where the industry can exchange expertise, explore opportunities and build stronger partnerships.

Looking ahead, Vietstock 2027 will take place from 20–22 October 2027 at the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Center (SECC), Ho Chi Minh City. The next edition will offer another opportunity for industry stakeholders to reconnect, discover new business prospects and work together towards a more innovative, greener and more sustainable future for Vietnam’s livestock industry.
