BEEF CATTLE CONFERENCE HOSTED BY THE DEPARTMENT OF ANIMAL HEALTH AND PRODUCTION

Under the theme “Beef Cattle Production in Vietnam: Challenges and Development Prospects”, the conference focuses on the key challenges and growth opportunities shaping Vietnam’s beef cattle sector. As the livestock industry faces increasing demands to improve production efficiency, enhance herd quality and strengthen market adaptability, access to specialised knowledge and practical experience sharing has become increasingly important. The conference provides a platform for policymakers, experts and businesses to exchange perspectives on development directions, identify key priorities and explore solutions suited to Vietnam’s farming conditions, contributing to improved productivity and the sustainable development of the beef cattle sector.

DIALOGUE SESSION WITH LIVESTOCK AND ANIMAL HEALTH BUSINESS HOSTED BY THE DEPARTMENT OF ANIMAL HEALTH AND PRODUCTION

Continuing the conference series on the livestock value chain, the dialogue session focuses on “Administrative Reform and Procedural Simplification” and is hosted by the Department of Animal Health and Production. The session provides a platform for direct engagement between government authorities and businesses, encouraging open discussions on administrative challenges, operational difficulties and key concerns facing the industry.

It also offers an opportunity for stakeholders to exchange perspectives and explore practical solutions to improve the business environment, enhance policy implementation and strengthen collaboration between regulatory authorities and industry players. Through constructive dialogue and closer cooperation, the session aims to facilitate business operations and support the competitiveness of Vietnam’s livestock and veterinary industries.

ONE HEALTH FORUM: ONE HEALTH SOLUTIONS FOR SUSTAINABLE LIVESTOCK PRODUCTION

As human, animal and environmental health become increasingly interconnected, the One Health Forum highlighted the importance of an integrated, cross-sectoral approach to addressing health and biosecurity challenges. The forum provided an opportunity for experts and business representatives to exchange knowledge, share professional insights and strengthen collaboration across relevant sectors.

By fostering connections and raising awareness of the links between people, animals and ecosystems, the programme encouraged proactive approaches to risk prevention, disease management and public health protection. WOMEN IN LIVESTOCK PANEL DISCUSSION: JOURNEYS AND MILESTONES IN THE LIVESTOCK INDUSTRY

Complementing the technical and professional programme, the Women in Livestock Panel Discussion provided a platform for women contributing to the development of the livestock industry to connect, share experiences and inspire one another. Under the theme “Leadership, Challenges and Insspiration”, the discussion explored real-life experiences, challenges encountered throughout professional journeys and opportunities for women to further develop their leadership capabilities and expertise.

EGGCELLENT TALK – PROMOTING EGG NUTRITION AND CONNECTING THROUGH NUTRITIONAL VALUE

As part of the 30th anniversary celebration of World Egg Day, Eggcellent Talk, hosted by the Vietnam Poultry Association (VPA), brought a series of meaningful activities to the Eggcellent Theatre. The programme aimed to raise awareness of egg nutrition, showcase egg products and highlight the role of eggs in supporting public health.

Visitors had the opportunity to learn more about the nutritional value of eggs, explore a diverse range of egg products and gain practical insights from the industry. A highlight was the distribution of 9,000 free eggs, helping spread the message of good nutrition and encouraging the community to make healthier food choices.

Through knowledge-sharing activities, product displays and showcases, the Eggcellent Theatre served as a key meeting point for businesses, experts and visitors. These activities helped raise awareness of the nutritional benefits of eggs while supporting the continued development of Vietnam’s egg industry.

The ASEAN Livestock Associations Round Table

As part of Vietstock 2026, the ASEAN Livestock Associations Roundtable brought together representatives from seven ASEAN countries: Vietnam, Indonesia, Myanmar, Thailand, Philippines, Malaysia and Cambodia. With the theme: “Sustainable Livestock Farming – The Way Forward for ASEAN’s Livestock Industry”, the meeting provided a platform for regional associations to connect and exchange views on key issues affecting the livestock and animal health industry. Discussions focused on biosecurity, organic livestock farming, the circular economy and animal welfare, fostering knowledge sharing, strengthening regional cooperation and supporting the sustainable development of ASEAN’s livestock industry.

EXPERIENCE TECHNOLOGY AND EXPAND BUSINESS CONNECTIONS AT VIETSTOCK 2026

Vietstock 2026 brought together more than 300 brands showcasing products, technologies and solutions across the livestock value chain, from nutrition and animal feed, genetics and breeding, and animal health to farm equipment, production and processing technologies, and sustainable development solutions.
