The Livestock Roadshow Series is a pre-event activity of VIETSTOCK – Vietnam’s Premier International Feed, Livestock, Animal Health & Meat Industry Show, part of one of Asia’s leading livestock exhibition series.

Bac Ninh – A Strategic Market for Northern Vietnam’s Swine Industry
Bac Ninh’s swine industry is rapidly advancing toward large-scale, industrialised production with the adoption of high technologies, gradually replacing traditional smallholder farming. Swine remains the province’s leading livestock sector, with the total herd projected to reach approximately 1.15 million head in 2026, contributing significantly to an estimated 395.2 thousand tonnes of live pork production. At the same time, the industry is accelerating the adoption of biosecurity measures and digital transformation in herd management, traceability, and farm operations.
According to the province’s development plan, the livestock sector is expected to generate VND 16.505 trillion in production value in 2026. With live hog prices remaining at a favorable level of approximately VND 67,000–68,000/kg, the swine industry presents strong growth opportunities for businesses across breeding, animal feed, vaccines, housing equipment, and smart farming technologies. In addition, Bac Ninh continues to strengthen disease prevention through two annual vaccination and disinfection campaigns, targeting 100% vaccination coverage for mandatory diseases to support sustainable livestock development.

The roadshow ” Applying Technologies to Optimise Cost and Improve Productivity in Swine Farming ” is the first event in a series of three specialised livestock roadshow organised by Vietstock in the lead-up to Vietstock 2026.
In partnershp with the Animal Husbandry Association in Vietnam (AHAV), the Vietnam Institute of Animal and Veterinary Sciences, and Vietnam University of Agriculture, the roadshow offers practical insights into emerging technologies, cost optimisation strategies, and solutions to improve production efficiency.
