This roadshow will gather leading experts and stakeholders to explore practical solutions and nutritional strategies aimed at improving flock health, productivity, and egg quality in modern poultry farming.

Layer Farming in Binh Duong Embraces High-Tech Development

Layer farming in Binh Duong is rapidly shifting toward high-tech, large-scale operations. The province currently has around 13.9 million poultry, with 70% raised in closed housing systems with controlled environments. Large-scale farms can produce 15,000–17,000 eggs per day, with modern technologies helping to shorten production cycles, reduce labor, and lower veterinary costs.

Binh Duong is promoting integrated value chains that connect farming with processing and export. Farms are increasingly using certified breeds and advanced processes to boost productivity and product quality. However, rising feed costs, especially for imported raw materials, remain a major challenge for the sector.

To support sustainable growth, the province is encouraging digital transformation and the application of smart farming solutions. These include automation, environmental sensors, and data-driven management systems, which help optimize operations, reduce environmental impact, and meet stricter food safety and traceability standards. This strategic direction aims to position Binh Duong as a leader in modern poultry farming in southern Vietnam.
