DAY 2 EXCITING AT VIETSTOCK 2025:  GROWING STRONGER, LEADING FORWARD

The second day of Vietstock Expo & Forum 2025 continued to thrive with a dynamic series of activities, drawing a large number of experts, businesses, and livestock producers from Vietnam and abroad.

The day’s highlights included key industry conferences and dialogues such as the Dialogue with the Leadership of the Department of Animal Health and Production (Ministry of Agriculture and Environment), Asean Livestock Associations Round Table, Eggcellent talk, the Antimicrobial Resistance Forum, and the Feedmillers Meet-up hosted by AHAV.

Dialogue with the Department of Animal Health and Production

Held on the morning of 9 October 2025 at Vietstock 2025, the dialogue between businesses and the leadership of the Department of Animal Health and Production took place in an open and constructive atmosphere. Key topics such as biosecurity, disease control, animal welfare, and policy mechanisms to enhance competitiveness and sustainable growth were extensively discussed.

Enterprises shared their challenges and policy recommendations directly, while regulatory authorities acknowledged the concerns and proposed practical solutions, encouraging green, circular, and environmentally friendly production models. The session was highly regarded as a vital public–private collaboration platform, fostering a modern, efficient, and sustainable livestock sector in Vietnam.

Antimicrobial Resistance Forum: From Policy to Practice – Tackling AMR Together

Held for the first time by Informa Markets at Vietstock 2025, the Antimicrobial Resistance (AMR) Forum became a key highlight, bringing together industry leaders, experts, and businesses to address one of the most pressing challenges in livestock production. Under the theme “From Policy to Practice – Tackling AMR Together”, the forum provided scientific insights, practical experience, and actionable solutions to help farmers and enterprises adopt safe and responsible farming practices, reduce antibiotic misuse, and contribute to global efforts for a sustainable and responsible livestock industry.

Eggcellent talk

As part of Vietstock 2025, the Eggcellent talk with the theme “Eggs for a Healthy Life”, organised by the Vietnam Poultry Association (VPA), was held enthusiastically at the Eggcellent theatre to celebrate World Egg Day. It brought together numerous experts, businesses, and producers to discuss the nutritional value of eggs, consumption trends, and sustainable development solutions aimed at improving quality and increasing the value of Vietnamese egg products.

Enhancing Value and Strategic Collaboration at Vietstock 2025

Vietstock 2025 brought together hundreds of comprehensive products, services, and solutions spanning from high-quality livestock breeds, modern machinery and equipment, to smart farm management technologies, renewable energy, and waste treatment solutions. The exhibition not only showcased remarkable advancements in the livestock industry but also provided farmers with practical tools to boost productivity, ensure product quality, and meet increasingly stringent standards for food safety, animal welfare, and sustainable development.

The Asean Livestock Associations Round Table gathered representatives from seven ASEAN countries – Vietnam, Malaysia, Philippines, Cambodia, Thailand, Indonesia, and Myanmar. Delegates exchanged insights on common regional challenges such as biosecurity, organic farming, circular economy practices, and animal welfare, fostering regional collaboration and promoting a sustainable livestock sector.

The Feedmillers Meet-up, hosted by the Animal Husbandry Association of Vietnam (AHAV), brought together top leaders, experts, and enterprises in the feed industry. The event served as a platform to discuss nutrition trends, production technologies, sustainable strategies, and emission reduction, while expanding cooperation and supporting the development of a more efficient and environmentally friendly feed sector in Vietnam.

Alongside these, Business Match & Meet Program and the Bus-in Program reinforced their role as strategic bridges, enabling enterprises, farms, and international partners to connect directly, exchange expertise, and establish key collaborations. These initiatives mark a stepping stone for innovation, value enhancement, and strengthened competitiveness in Vietnam’s livestock industry in a globally integrated market.
