Press conference Vietstock 2024 was held on Wednesday, August 07, 2024 at Pullman Hanoi, 40 Cat Linh, Dong Da, Hanoi, Vietnam.

In collaboration with the Department of Livestock Production (The Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development) and Vietnam Agriculture Newspaper, Informa Markets organised the Vietstock 2024 Press Conference. With the participation of 50 businesses and 30 media units, the press conference was successfully held.

Vietstock 2024 – the 20th-anniversary edition of the innovation journey will be organised with the theme “Livestock transformation for better production, nutrition, environment and lifeâ€�.

Vietstock 2024 Press Conference in Hanoi, Vietnam on August 07, officially kicked off Vietstock Awards. The event have garnered great interest and support from numerous domestic and foreign businesses.

Vietstock Awards 2024 is the 12th prestigious livestock award organised by Informa Markets in Vietnam, hosted by the Department of Livestock Production (MARD) and media sponsored by the Vietnam Agriculture Newspaper. Vietstock Awards will honour outstanding businesses and organisations that have made significant contributions to Vietnam’s livestock industry.

In addition, the Department of Livestock Production (MARD) will host 03 conference sessions on the following topics: Livestock Transformation For Better Production, Nutrition, Environment And Life; Livestock Breeds, Animal Feed. The sessions will cover a range of subjects from technical advances to regulations and policies, helping visitors stay updated on the latest trends and best practices.

Vietstock 2024 will take place concurrently with Aquaculture Vietnam 2024, from October 9 to 11 at the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Center (SECC), 799 Nguyen Van Linh, District 7, Ho Chi Minh City.

The most anticipated events in livestock and aquaculture are set to surpass previous editions with an extensive 15,000 m² exhibition area. With over 400 exhibitors and 13,000 attendees from 50 countries and regions.

REMOVE SARS-COV-2 TEST REQUIREMENT FROM 00:00, 15 May 2022

Deputy Prime Minister Vu Duc Dam signed Official Telegram 416/CD-TTg on 13 May 2022 of the Prime Minister on the suspension of the requirement to be tested for SARS-CoV-2 virus before entering Vietnam. Temporarily suspending the requirement to be tested for the SARS-CoV-2 virus before entering Vietnam from 00:00 on May 15, 2022. All previous visa restrictions have been removed. For any questions about Vietnam visas, temporary residence, customs procedures and immigration, please contact the competent immigration authority of Vietnam.

BILATERAL EXEMPTION OF ENTRY VISA

Vietnam has signed visa exemption agreements with 90 countries, including 02 agreements with Namibia and Ethiopia that have not yet taken effect.

UNILATERAL EXEMPTION OF ENTRY VISA

Vietnam unilaterally exempts visas for citizens of 13 countries: Russia, Japan, Korea, Norway, Finland, Denmark, Sweden, UK, France, Germany, Spain, and Italy. Belarus and for officials of the ASEAN Secretariat with a stay of not more than 15 days, if the following conditions are met:

• Have a valid passport valid for at least 6 months from the date of entry.
• The time of entry must be at least 30 days from the time of exit under the previous visa exemption category.
